And still you're the only ones I know who've reacted to this. Ian has composed quite a few songs worthy of your ears. I think you'd do yourself and us a world of good to delve deeper. There's a song that you may like almost as well. "Wondering Aloud" came out on Aqualung and then was reprised on Living In the Past with "Wondering Again". Then someone, maybe Ian, had the good sense to conjoin them. It's soft, joyful, even celebratory yet filled with wistfulness and melancholy. Like this it's mostly acoustic and reaches deeply. Keep up the great work. Always look forward to it.

Thanks for another Mike Oldfield reaction. I wish you guys would be a little bit more adventurous, less safe and tackle his long form instrumentals. Albums like Tubular Bells, Hergest Ridge and Ommadawn. As great as the shorter tracks and pop songs are, they don't fully show what this musician is all about and what he can fully do. Nice reaction though.

Back in the day, this was a big hit in Europe, I believe 1997. The 90ś saw the rise of dj/producer teams, dominating the hits charts with techno and trance music. In the early 90ś there would be a rapper and a female vocalist fronting the group, in the later 90ś the singing part became less prominent, featuring only a man or a woman doing some vocals. Thank you for reacting to the party music Enoma, life doesn have to be serious all the time :)

I had read Cross eyed Mary was based on a young gal Ian Anderson had seen in the streets begging for money. This is song a commentary on how some people are marginalized and are forced to live by the wits. Its not what you think.

I’m always amazed that a song this accomplished was Paolo’s first single from his debut album. The melodies, the structure and the overall songwriting skill is of someone with 5 or 10 years experience. An extraordinarily good song, superbly sung.

One thing I overlooked, was how the song isn't structured like most regular songs. Chorus only appears once, then a few verses, before the bridge, then a breakdown leads into an extended middle-eight? And, it works so well. I also love the bass playing on this song.

The more jazz side of Camel. This group has always been right after the bigger groups Yes, Genesis etc. but has had a solid fanbase up to this day. The band still works but hasn't released new music for two decades all though the mainman Andrew Latimer is still writing new music.
